Dinner With Kate Linder - 1st Annual Kate Linder Celebrity Charity Gala

Kate Linder, The Young and Restless Star, Daytime Governor at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, recent recipient of a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Official Spokesperson for The ALS Association, finds time for giving of herself for a multiplicity of causes.

Emerging Magazine executive staff members spoke with Kate during an Emmy Gift Suite event co-sponsored by Emerging Magazine. Kate spoke of her concern for those suffering from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly referred as Lou Gehrig's disease and the commitment of The ALS Association in their quest to lead in the fight for a cure and to treat the progressive neurodegenerative disease.

From that conversation came the birth of the 1st Annual Kate Linder Celebrity Charity Gala, a collaboration of celebrities gathering together for a common cause, for one evening, to raise funds for The ALS Association, Greater Los Angeles Chapter.

The Gala, hosted by Kate Linder, features dinner with celebrities and dignitaries, a celebrity luxury gift lounge with cocktails, entertainment, a celebrity gift bag live auction, and a product runway where celebrities will be the persons walking the runway showcasing vendor products and services. The extraordinary Gala festivities purpose is set to not only raise much needed funds for The ALS Association, Greater Los Angeles Chapter, but to bring awareness to this devastating disease.
